Original ribbon bar intended for the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, awarded to members of the United States Armed Forces for service in the European, African, and Middle Eastern theaters during World War II.
The medal was established by Executive Order No. 9265, issued on November 6, 1942, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was awarded to military personnel who completed at least 30 consecutive days of service in the theater of operations between December 7, 1941, and March 2, 1946.
The ribbon bar is manufactured according to U.S. military specifications, featuring standard dimensions and the original metal backing with fastening pins.
